Welcome to iBNSoft CMS! This guide will walk you through the initial setup process, from installing the platform to publishing your first page.
Prerequisites
- .NET 8 SDK installed on your development machine
- SQL Server 2019 or later (Express edition works fine)
- Visual Studio 2022 or VS Code with C# extension
Step 1: Create a New Project
Start by creating a new iBNSoft CMS project using our project template. Open a terminal and run the dotnet new command to scaffold your solution.
Step 2: Configure Your Database
Update your connection string in appsettings.json to point to your SQL Server instance. The CMS will automatically create all required tables on first run.
Step 3: Build Your First Page
Navigate to the administration dashboard and use the visual page builder to create your first content page. Drag and drop widgets, add text, images, and more.
